Storyline

Language? Tradition? Origin? What determines a person's identity? Members of the Hungarian-German minority live in the village of Városlőd/ Waschludt in Hungary. How do they perceive their identity? What does Hungarian-German ancestry mean to them? The short documentary “Hungarian? German? Hungarian German? Impressions from Városlőd/ Waschludt” attempts to find answers to these questions. Four generations provide insights into their lives in the Hungarian-German community.
