Storyline

Eighteen-year-old Romanian Liana lives and works with her father Stancu in Germany. When her long-awaited trip home is threatened, she has to risk the family's existence and her relationship with Stancu, in order to get home after all.

About the film/director

Jonathan Schaller, born in 1996 in Cologne, studied philosophy and media cultural studies and produced numerous short films, which were shown at national and international film festivals. Since 2019, he has been studying scenic directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Currently, he is participating in an international exchange program in Palestine, where he is working on a documentary film.
