The 1990s. Two girls and an old shaman woman go deep into the forest to find the remains of a German in the debris of a plane that crashed during the Great Patriotic War…
About the film/director
I am deeply moved by the idea that despite a dream or death, a person continues to make choices that determine their path. Sergey Godin - stage and screen actor, director was born on 13.12.1987 in Moscow. In 2007 graduated from Russian Institute of Theatre Arts GITIS, faculty of acting. In 2011 - the Moscow Art Theatre School (class of R.E. Kozak and D.V. Brusnikin). Until 2015 worked at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre and Mossovet Theatre and played over 30 roles in cinema and television. In 2018 enrolled at the Higher Courses for Directors and Scriptwriters, class of V. Khotinenko, P. Finn, V. Fenchenko. «The Drum of the Upper World» is his directorial debut.
