About the film/director
A short silent comedy shot on 16mm, filmed in Italy by an Anglo-French director who doesn't speak a word of Italian. Jethro Massey is an Anglo-French director based in Paris. His previous short film, Trauma Industries, a 35mm science fiction film with an aesthetic inspired by 1950s Soviet propaganda, was selected in over 70 film festivals around the world, and won ten awards in Oman, across Europe, and in the U.S. His music videos for Joon Moon, Acoustic Resistance, Hailey Tuck, Melody Linhart & Liset Alea (Nouvelle Vague) have featured in festivals around the world, gathering numerous awards for costume, make-up, cinematography and special effects.
