Storyline
"Life is what happens while you are making other plans" - Emiliana from the Big City involves her great love, the hermit Albert, in a fateful gamble without his knowledge. His chicken and his fondness for lemonade help him keep track. A modern fairy tale satire in which good homemade lemonade battles a sticky purple soda monopoly, in which the great love for man and chicken is revisited, and in which unpredictable coincidences and precise planning alternate to produce the big twists.
About the film/director
ALICE VON GWINNER was born in Hamburg in 1987. During her studies in media design at the Bauhaus University in Weimar until 2012, she wrote and directed four short fiction and animated films. These were selected for 75 international film festivals and received 17 awards. She continued to develop as a filmmaker in numerous regional and international workshops and continuing education courses.
