Die in einer Beziehungskrise steckenden Sanne und Markus fliegen für einen gemeinsamen Urlaub versehentlich auf die falsche Insel. Dort steigen sie aus der Not heraus in ein Ferienhaus ein und beginnen ein Rollenspiel mit neuen Identitäten. Zu Beginn ist das Spiel für Sanne und Markus eine aufregende Neuentdeckung ihrer Beziehung, wird jedoch zunehmend destruktiver, als sich beide in alte Rollenmuster drängen.
Finally a holiday together: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. But as they arrive at the address of their hotel Markus and Sanne have to realise with a shock: They are on the wrong island! Markus accidentally booked a flight to "La Palma" instead of "Las Palmas". In order to rescue their relationship, Markus becomes inventive: He enters an empty holiday home and claims that it is his. A role play begins: He becomes Pablo, a masculine and exciting Spaniard, in whom Sanne falls in love again. Sanne slips after some hesitation in the role of Alba, a lascivious seductive Spaniard. Between bizarre situations and encounters, both begin to get to know each other again - until they slowly slide back in the old relationship patterns...
